I don't feel here has ever been a bundle of family who were more than discomfited than the 11 apostles who watched Jesus Christ die on a annoyed on Cavalry. These 11 men had been near him for cardinal geezerhood. They had staked their full-page lives on Him. They had deserted homes and jobs and families and endowed their complete lives in his promises and proposal and nearby they were, status on that windswept hill open-air Jerusalem, watching the man they beloved and believed in... die a torturous, dreadfully belligerent departure.

Can you create mentally the prayers these disciples prayed? For work time. "God... delight...don't let him die!!"

But God did let him die.

The apostles just saw the here and now. Not the hereafter. If God had granted their prayers and Jesus had not died on the cross, they... and us, too... wouldn't have had the timeless duration ready-made viable because Jesus died on a thwartwise.
